History In 1996, Bisk Education, Inc., introduced a new division, the University Alliance, now the nation's largest exclusive e-learning organization. The University Alliance, which supports over 28,000 enrollments, works with regionally accredited and nationally recognized universities - such as Saint Leo University, Regis University and Jacksonville University - to provide adult learners with the opportunity to earn their accredited bachelor's and master's degrees online. Bisk Education is a national company based in Tampa, Florida, providing software, CD-ROMs, textbooks and streaming audio/video continuing professional education materials and accredited degree programs to students around the world. Bisk Education was founded by Nathan M. Bisk, CPA, JD, in Gainesville, Florida in 1971 and moved to its present location in Tampa's Sabal Park in 1987. The entire operation is housed in a company-owned 75,000-square-foot facility, which contains corporate offices, state-of-the-art audio and video recording studios, sales and telemarketing, software development, marketing and advertising, production, editorial, accounting, printing operations, and over 235 employees.
